Opening the conversation…
ABOUT GLOBAL VOICE

VOTE is an independent global opinion poll about the November 3, 2026 U.S. midterm elections. People anywhere can share their preferences in the included federal, state and local contests. Nationwide coverage is still incomplete.

One browser, one ballot

A random browser identifier, stored in a cookie and browser storage, limits submissions. The server accepts it only once. Clearing both, using private browsing, or switching browsers can bypass the limit. This is not verified one-person or one-iPhone voting.

Your voice, with less personal data

No name, email, or precise location is collected by the poll. Country is optional and self-reported. A public location pin is opt-in. Coordinates are rounded to a 5° grid before being sent and checked again on the server. A country-center pin is also available. The location grid spans hundreds of kilometers and varies by latitude.

Results publish aggregate choices and coarse pin clusters. Your ballot stores a hashed browser identifier, your choices, optional country and coarse coordinates, a receipt, and submission time. The hosting service handles site access separately.

What the results mean

This is a self-selected opinion poll, not a representative survey, election forecast, or official vote. Each participant may skip any contest. Multi-seat choices use an explicit sourced limit where available; otherwise the poll asks for one preference. Alaska’s real election uses ranked-choice voting; this opinion poll asks for one preferred candidate in that race. Candidate-choice totals can therefore exceed ballot totals. Candidate frames use blue for Democrats, red for Republicans, green for Green parties, gold for Libertarians, and gray where another party color has not been verified. The participation map uses neutral markers for ballots. Selecting a race shows its party choices. Numbered markers group nearby ballots; locations remain approximate.
